Owner Jerry Bizon, has been building and repairing guitars professionally for over 18 years.  Jerry trained for 6 years under famous luthier Jon Hill, building custom guitars from the ground up.  He also spent five years on the road as a highly sought after guitar tech, having worked with many famous artists.  His impressive resume also includes 4 years as Chief Product Technician at Ernie Ball / MusicMan and trainer at the former Dean Guitars USA custom shop.  Head technician Derek Ness attended the renowned Roberto Venn School of Luthiery. He was taught by some of the world's most famous and respected luthiers, including Frank Ford, and is an amazingly skilled repairman in his own right.

Since 2002, S.I.S. has been the exclusive repair facility for many Southern California Guitar Centers and all its customers.  All repair work is taken directly through Guitar Center.  S.I.S. techs perform weekly repairs directly at Guitar Center and most jobs can be done the same day.  Jobs needing additional time are taken to our shop in Pasadena and brought back to Guitar Center the following week.  Working with Guitar Center enables the customer to have professional repairs done quickly and easily at a store location nearby.  We are now also taking repair appointments on a limited basis at our Pasadena shop.  Although S.I.S. is independently owned and operated, the customer can expect only the utmost in quality and service that Guitar Center demands.
